Art Handling Technician

Darbyshire Ltd. is looking for a practical minded person to join their team in their Gloucestershire workshops, based near Stroud.  Duties will involve all aspects of handling and mounting artists prints and drawings, in addition to preparation and fitting of the artworks into frames at a very high standard for some of the most prestigious galleries in the UK and abroad.

Required Skills and Attributes

The ideal candidate will be practical and patient, with a keen eye for detail, willing to work as part of a core team of experienced art handlers, while equally capable of working on their own initiative. Ability to work well under deadlines is essential in these positions.  Knowledge of the industry is an advantage but not essential.  Full time or part time by agreement.
